How to connect Zendesk when I don't have a password or use SSO?
To authorize Zendesk in Prodsight, you will need to log in with your Zendesk email and password.
If you don't have a password because your company has disabled password logins or you use SSO, then please follow the steps below to authorize via an API token.
Instructions
1. Enable Token Access in Zendesk
- Login to your Zendesk account
- Go to Settings page
- In the left side bar, under Channels, select API
- Under Token Access, click the switcher to enable it
2. Create a Zendesk API Token
- Then click the + button to create an API token
- Under API Token Description, enter "Prodsight"
- Copy the token to your clipboard
- Click "Save" to confirm.
3. Connect your Zendesk account in Prodsight
- Go back to Prodsight
- Head to Integrations and under Zendesk click Connect
- Under Zendesk Subdomain enter the first part of your Zendesk URL (e.g. "flowerly" if your URL is "flowerly.zendesk.com") and click Next.
- In the next screen use the following credentials to authorize:
- Username: [email protected]/token (don't forget to add
/token
at the end) - Password: <your Zendesk API token created in Step 2>

- Click Next to confirm and wait a few moments for your Zendesk account to be connected.
